I know there's already a post on this but it's a little old.
Managed to get my hands on a pair of these with switches for the coupe.
What steps should I take in installing these? I have people tell me it's an easy install I have people tell me it's almost not worth it.
Any tips?
the only thing people have problems with is the wiring, other than that they just bolt up into your stock mirrors place. i havent wired mine up yet so i dont really know how hard or easy it really is. email TRD 901-z (i think thats his user name?sorry if its wrong
) he wired his i believe. he should be able to give you some excellent pointers!!

damn I was afraid you'd say something like that. Wiring has not been and probably never will be my forte.
What do you think he wired to? I've heard of some people being able to fold their windows back after they're parked and lock their cars. I wanna try something like that.
i dont know how you go about wiring it up like that, i think you need a relay to get the power to make them close when you hit the lock button. not really sure. sorry i couldnt be more help

I'd swap the mirror glass from your old mirrors if possible, because the toyota cav is rhd, the left side mirror is convex instead of the right side.
There were some wiring guides posted at one time I think, if I get time later maybe I'll search for them.

i know this is a stupid question but what all toyota mods are out there and where are they selkling these yotas? i knew gm was in bed with toyota but i didnt realize they were branding gm cars with toyota badges, any info would be sweet
