Anyone know why they added that little lip to the bottom of the Type J, the one that sticks out like a foot? I wanted to photoshop the bumper without the lip, just to see how much better it would look. Anyone got a pic to spare, something decent I could photoshop to see?

there's no lip added to the type j bumper, it's part of the design. all he has to search for is "type j".
however, photoshopping the "lip" off of the bumper is the easy part. trying to customize that urethane is not an easy or cheap task. it's not like fiberglass which anyone can work with. urethane is a whole different animal.
