I have searched all over, does anyone know the part number for the 04-05 sunfire trunk panel. Thanks for the help.

a part number will land you a one time low cheap price of 500 bucks from the dealer, and like 350 shipped from gmpartsdirect...find one in a bone yard, or someone online sellin one. I got mine off ebay. Cannon Fodder might have one for sale if he hasn't sold it already

so far i've gotten two of them for $50 shipped (each). easiest way to find them:

go to http://www.car-parts.com and where it asks for what part, scroll down to tail light. when you click search, it will ask you for which tail light, make sure you click 2 Dr, lid mtd. that's the trunk panel. click search, and call up any one of the junk yards that's listed. make sure you search in all of the USA, because most salvage yards will be willing to ship that part to you for very little.
