hey all just lookin for a quick answer here i went to the dealer looking for the clips to hold the z24 skirts on...
anyways...long story short he says these are the only clips made to hold on bumpers / skirts on a cavalier....
can anyone possibly tell me if these are the right clips, and dont mind the rust...i got em fer free.....
umm the skirts are not held on by those, niether are the bumpers lol only thing held on by those is the fender liner and that lil plastic thingy under the bumper...
contact a different dealer as the one you went to obviously has no idea what the hell they are doing.
You could even try going to a body shop--alot of times they have contacts at the dealers and can get parts quick.
also is there an alternative to those clips at every dealers around here they are 7$ a piece
I need 20 of them and i wont pay 140$ +txs for those
go find a z24 from a junkyard
cant you just use push pins? make a hole in the stock skirt where the clip would go and put it right through. It has been a while since I have done it but that should work.
hmmm....okay....
and as for the bottom parts, you just drill a hole and put an anchor in correct?....and then screw the skirt into th body or whatever....also how far do you go....i dont wanna drill a hole into my floor or anything
well they told me 7$ cause each clip comes with a screw
so the clips alone are only 42cents (so around 50 cents canadian) also how long are the needed screw for the underside ? do have a pix or something ?
