This weekend I finally started installing my blitz kit on my sunfire. The kit had come with a couple cracks in the front bumper, but I figured that wasn't a huge deal and I wasn't too upset about it. The first thing we did was throw on the front bumper. It lined up awesome except for a little gap around the headlights. Then we decided to move to the sideskirts. The sides were about 2 inches short. When we tried to test fit them it was impossible to even get them into a position where they weren't covering the door. I know body kits may take a little fabrication, but you shouldn't have to cut apart the peices and add to them. The last part is the real kick in the nuts. They sent me a cavalier bumper. I bought this stuff off of ebay so I won't be getting my money back. I definitly learned that you get what you pay for. I want to keep my bumper on because it looks awesome and my stock one is cracked. I don't want my car looking like garbage with one lower bumper then the rest. I was thinking about buying some urethane sideskirts and a rear bumper. Any suggestions? I was looking at the RK sport stuff. My last question would be about the fitment of the urethane. I hear that its pretty awesome but I want to make sure before I spend some more money. My front bumper took no modifying, all we had to do was bend it and drill holes. Will the urethane bumpers be that easy as well. I need to be able to take this stuff off for winter so it would be nice if things fit good and came on and off easily. Sorry for the huge post. Any help with the urethane questions would be great.
MOST urethane kits are awesome, never really heard of any complaints. I know my Import Fighter kit from RKSport that I had on my 96 fit just like stock. No drilling holes or anything, lined up perfect, just some trimming of the crush panel on the bumper itself. You shouldn't be disappointed at all with urethane.

I was more than satisfied w/ my RK kit. Def minimal hassle. The only prob I had was a small kink in one of the sideskirts from shipping. But all I had to do was heat it a lil and kinda bend it out, and it was good. Urethane is def the way to go, IMO.
