Hey guys, I know this is kind of a basic question. One of my door locks doesnt work anymore (turn the key in the lock and it doesnt do anything). If I were to get a power door lock kit would this allow me to unlock my door even with the broke lock? or do I have to replace the lock?

I was looking at the kit on aplusperformance.com and i wasn't sure If I would be able to use this with my one lock being broken

I forgot to mention that my lock still unlocks from the inside, just not the outside
