Trying to find factory white paint with blue pearl
Thursday, April 21, 2005 1:43 PM
I am getting my car painted in the next couple weeks and I want to repaint it white. I was gonna go with the factory white and add a blue pearl. A friend made a good suggestion though and that was to find a factory white paint with blue pearl already in it. That way it would be simple to match if I needed something repainted down the line. Anybody know of any factory paint this color?

Nope, I dont know of any manufacturers that have a production paint with pearl in it. The only way for you to match it if you need to repaint something, is to do exactly that... "MATCH" it. Sry :-(

Nissan offered a white pearl color for their old 300ZX; but, I can't remember what color pearl it was.

well my is300 has pearl white paint...its a nice bright white...so does caddy like someone else said but its kinda got a soft yellowish..biege tint on it ...not really fitting for our cars...other option is 2000 caddy escalade white and add some pearl..the reason i say that white is because its one of the brightest white made as of now for a production car,....so the pearl shot afterwards on wont really tone the white too much...my buddies impala was done like this and man that paint is sick.....i was gonna post a pic but i cant find one... as far as matchin up later...pearl in general is hard to match just one panel too..so ur gonna have to do lots of blending if u ever have to do a touch up... just make sure u get a lil more than u need of paint and pearl dust...to be on the safe side...hope it helps
