I have a 96 Cavalier and am thinking about buying some 00-02 headlight corners. I am pretty sure I read somewhere about this swap but didnt see anything with the search. Can it be done? What kind of gap will I have with a 95-99 front air dam where the corner of the light and the fender/bumper meet? Thanks in advance.

That sucks I finally found some black corners but they are only for the 00-02. Guess I'll have to keep looking.
yup, your going to have to make them. really easy. just heat up the lenses. i use an oven but alot of people melted theirs and others have used hair dryers but that takes a real long time. once you get the glue loose, peel apart then paint. heat it back up to get the glue soft again and push back together and hold it to insure the seal
Thanks for the advice I will do that. Clear corners are cheaper than the black ones. Has anyone used the black headlights? What kind of vision do they offer at night?
you don't actually paint the reflecting part, just the other parts, so it dosn't hinder vision at all
Ok I ordered some clear corners. I was thinking about using a heating gun. I would try the oven but not sure if the light would warp or melt.
