ok, as fas as I know (or thought I did), they don't make the blitz for the new cavaliers. But since Im doing the 03 conversion to my car I needed a new bumper. So I went to a local body kit store, and asked what they had for the 03 cavs. They told me they had the drift, bomex and the blitz? I was like, they dont make that, and they were like, yes they do, we have it. They only had a pic of the bomex, they didnt have any of the blitz or drift. I like how the blitz looks so I ordered it, they should get it by next week. So what do you guys think? do they really make this kit for the newer cavs? or are they gonna give me something like a type J and call it a blitz? and finally, does anyone have a picture of a newer cav with the blitz bumper?

Yes, there is a blitz for the 03+. I don't have a picture, but I've seen it. It's fiberglass.
thanks for the quick response. so anyone have pics? oh yeah, and does anyone know if the hood latch is different in the 03 cavs? I got my 03 hood, but the latch isnt low enough to hit the thingy that holds it down. thanks

it looks the same to me, but for some reason my didnt fit so I just welded another piece to it in order to extend it and now it fits like a glove.
Your putting a real kit on Orlando? what made you change your mind?

fitment issues lol, and basically the same price as the custom one, so might as well get an original bumper. since not many people have the blitz on the 03's, well I picked that.
Not to jack this thread or anything but w00tburgers is your front fiberglass or urathane?

there is another "blitz" style kit out there--I had one that I bought from someone else, but sold it to buy performance parts---front fit pretty good, never tried the rear or sides.

^thats good to hear. oh yeah, and I thought it would be extremely difficult to work the headlights area if I was going custom. the 95 - 02 cav headlights sit kind of flat, so it's not that hard to make it fit with the headlights, but the 03 looks like it's nearly impossible, alignment and all that. so that's why I decided to buy a real bumper. (yeah, we need an edit button, this should have gone in my last post.)
Orlandomon: Im now getting the front bumper becues the one I wanted from ed was the wrong size it was 72 in so i have a differnt rear then the blitz but hey it should still look good till I can come up with about 400 or 500 for the rear lol

im sorry but that kit is ugly. it looks like some thing i could fiberglass (and thats a bad thing).
