gonna do a windshield banner on my gf's 2004 cavalier ls coupe and was wondering if ne one had ne suggestions on putting the banner on? Ne suggestions about how to avoid bubbling we got a tint kit thing from walmart that has a squeege meant for putting tints on and a box cutter
none.

windshield banners suck. Makes me want to sit slouch in my seat.

just get a tint on the top...banners are gay. even for a girl to have them
she wanted it. its a dragon one to go with the interior of her car. i have my windows tinted and love it she is just trying to do small stuff to her car to make it look good. I kinda of agree i dont like vinyl to much. some looks good but i prefer the clean look.
Well considering all these people are not helping you at all, and since putting a banner up is YOUR choice, I will help you out. Get yourself a squeegee. Some people will tell you to use a credit card or use your drivers license. These will work but no where near as good as a squeegee. Start by setting the banner on th top of the wwindsheildand center it as best you think. Have ur girlfriend help
Put a piece of tape in the middle of the banner and tape it to the top of your roof and the wwindsheild Adjust as needed to get it centered. Once centered, peel away one side down to the piece of tape and cut off sheet of masking tape you pulled away. Now, working your way from the center piece of tape out, flatten the vinyl onto the wwindsheildlittle by little by rrubbignthe squeegee onto the vinyl. Once you have worked all the way to that side, remove the rest of the masking tape sheet and then work slowly towards the other end. Once you have it all down go over the entire vinyl with a good amount of pressure and flatten down anything you missed. Pull off the paper. Work out any bubbles you can. Dont worry too much about the small bubbles as when it sits in the sun it will shrink up and most of them will go away. Take your time

I have a banner on my car, I mean as long as its not something stupid like a frog or I dunno...Something like "2 Fast" then its ok it gives the car SOME adittude. Just my opinion though.
Start off with yor phone as your banner, then when people call you, you can ask them for some good suggestions on a banner.
