ok just got my windows tinted by a very reputable guy....question....got them tinted yesterday crappy weather here in north new jersey.....chilly and rainy.....tint looks wonderful ....he has a tape over my electric window buttons says don't roll down windows for 4 days....let everything set....i am noticing one little bubble on the lower passenger side window...question is will this set or will i have a problem with it when i do roll the window down or will i have to press down on it with a squeegee and get the bubble out myself....according to the guy the windows need to "cure" and all will be fine....like i said all looks good but this one little spot on the lower passenger side window......PLEASE HELP ME OUT ON THIS ONE...THANKS IN ADVANCE....

i just got mine done 2 weeks ago, the first day and a half i had the same problem bubbles and spots everywhere, it was cold and rainy so total overcast and no sun didnt let the windows cure very quick, once they did most of that went away, bubbles should all be gone once it warms up for 2 days or so, my car however is developing little spots and the back window looks like crap and its been in the sun for weeks, the little spots are imperfections in the glass you might have some to that would lead to little spots and bubble lookin peices, the dot matrix on these cars sucks for tint, if your trully not happy or somethin really looks screwy make sure the tint is dry. Leave it for a couple days in direct sun if no change happens go back to your tinter ask him about it, if he feeds you a line that doesnt set well with you make him explain in detail or show you another car if he claims it happens to all cars, if its a true problem that you dont like make him fix it for free if he refuses and you paid by credit card. Stop payment little known fact about a credit card is that when you pay with credit it sits in an account till the end of the month then they retailer gets their cash, at any time if you dispute this charge the credit card company is bound by law to pull those charges off your card and the retailer cannot force a charge on you, now they can take you to court, sue you blah blah blah but if the work is trully flawed and he refuses to repair it take whatever actions you feel neccassary.

hey laura, where did you end up going , i need to get my front windows tinted....most the time the little bubbles find there way out, or you use the squeegy an it comes out
well like i said this guy is very reputable and he also came highly recommended from guys on this board.....so i trust him.....its just that one dam spot i'm a bit concerned with but he did say give it about four days especially since the weather is crappy here this week and gonna be cool....so i'll park it in the sun and wait and see.....thanks

hey paul.....lol....sams window tint in hawthorne.....he's got two shops one in nyack and the one in hawthorne nice shop too.....really nice guy......definitely on the up and up he did all windows cept the windshield 20% (but dosen't matter what percentage) same price ...200.00......and it does look great.......he's right on goffle road....

ummmm for a fast cure..... heat the windows with a blow dryer. I saw it done on speed channels whips

meancav.....i'll let it sit til it warms up here for a few days and the sun comes out and see what happens ......like i said its the front passenger side window and its right at the bottom of it just a bubble but we'll see...I NEED TO PRACTICE PATIENCE WITH THIS FROM ALL THE READING I'VE DONE ON IT...LOL
