Opinion question

For my birthday a friend got me the radiator guard (that big plastic thing) for my 01 cavy.... in Japanese.

Thus I have been inspired somewhat to do a toyota conversion along with the mirrors. Meaning Toyota Badges. Brake and clutch fluid covers. ETC

I already have the "Cavalier 2.4z" Badge on the back. I'm no longer sporting chevy bowties. And I still have the z24 side badge.

What do you guys think? I know I might get flamed to hell for this. I just wanna see the reaction from the community.

Define misbadging? I've googled a few Toyota Cavaliers that were obviously Chevy's to begin with. they don't look half bad.

I think false badging is stupid.

Most people have never heard of a "Toyota Cavalier" so once you get the Toyota "T's" on there, people are just going to think your trying to fit in with the imports.

If you like the toyota parts, just get the tails, mirrors, stearing wheel, fenders, side markers, clear corners, trunk lid liner, fluid caps, maybe the floor mats and call it a day. but don't get the toyota badges...

word. sounds good to me.... the steering wheel is nice. Leathery. but you guys are right about the whole badging thng. Maybe if this was asia. or if the car was actually RH Drive then it'd seem to fit more.

oh well.

I'm still keeping the "Cavalier 2.4z" On the back... it is a 2.4 after all >.>
