I want my car back
I droped it off at like 3 A.M. last thursday, they didn't mess with it thursday friday they got all the paint and materials needed ready, they aren't open weekends, bye 11 AM this mourning everythign was finished and primed just waiting in line to get in the paint booth. Well they didn't get it in today
so it gets the paint tommarow and I get it back thursday.
But anyways.... waiting sucks, I can't wait wait anymore I want to see my car damn it hahahah
I'll post pics on saturday or sunday if its dry outside
that sucks atleast its only a week. i had my car in the shop for 7 weeks and they didnt even fix anythin'. last time i tell someone to take their time.
same deal when I went to one body shop for my kit... Estimated me at 550 P+I, then had it for over 20 days b4 i called....they changed their est. to 950...
oh I'm not complaing about the shop, I love the shop this isn't the first time I bought work to hem, I'm just excited to see it when its finished
its gonna be sweeeeeet
I'm lost... what's it in the shop for?
don't worry about it
some new toys, liek I said new pics will be posted this wekeend when its done
i feel ya man, but i tell ya what really sucks....waiting for parts to come in so you can start to modify them. you would think being a dealer and putting them on your own car would give you an extra boost with the ship time...but nope, none at all. ive been waiting almost 6 weeks for my big project to come in.....*sigh* i hate waiting too.....

Yeah waiting sucks, in the same boat as you, going to stop by today and see whats up with my stuff, everything was painted last week so it was just waiting on clear coat.
I know all about the waiting game...I have spent the last 6 months in foriegn countries ordering things to put on when I come home in 22 days...At which point its ON!!!

Personally, I like waiting for something, then when you get it your missing parts so you have to wait longer for the parts. And also when you order your wheels and wait a month, they finally come in, and their four lug lol .

Hopefully I remember everything goin' on w/ it...
"lambos, twin-turbo V10, super-wide-body, chopped top, ..." Shoot, I know there was more, but can't remember what... BTW, you do realize all that is a joke?? W/ people that know Ryan, As soon as they read 'lambos' they know it's
lol
I know about the waiting game Ryan, lol. I had to wait like a whole three weeks or something for my door hinges, and now I'm waiting on the correct struts for that hinge kit (Joe at MMS sent the coupe struts on accident). I'm also waiting for the May meet (two weeks?! doh!) so I can finally be a bit lower - thank god I won't be the only 4x4 left in the Chi-Town group after that. More stuff to, exhaust, motor mounts, remote door kit for shaved handles, shaving the body, all stuff that I still need to get
Let's trade jobs (my two for your one) so I can afford stuff
i'm waiting too. i'm doing a front end conversion but am waiting for f1 fenders i ordered a month ago from krazy kustomz.
^^^ Dude, you just reminded me to check a thread. I told a guy that wants to do a Sunalier conversion that I would like to do a CavFire conversion and he should come to the Chi-Town meet in a couple weeks, lol.
in the same boat man dropped off the car monday and cant wait to get it back on saturday...
just over 24 hours till I get my baby back hahaha
I want my baby back baby back baby back.....................RIBS
BAR B Q SAUCE
well...my ONLY educated guess...from watching ur car and some of ur posts...is that you painted part of the cf hood like u had a photoshop of....other than that.......i dunno. lol
good luck w/ everything and i cant wait to see the car..its def. one of my fav. is not my fav.
I work at a body shop, and trust me, let them take all the time they NEED. When the painter gets rushed, quality goes way down. Give them a reasonable time to finish it, but don't give a deadline. Just a little FYI that I thought I'd share.
