How do I go about doing it correctly? I've heard of using a bat or something, putting it between the tire and the fender, and pushing the lip up. Is that the way to do it? Or is there a better, and safer sounding way? Or do I give it a try?
I may not know much about cars, but I know two things....
1) Breaking things is expensive, and
2) Horsepower isn't cheap.
there is actually a tool made for rolling fenders. atatches to the well hub. does pretty much the same thing as a bat. be prepared for the paint to crack on the edge you are rolling. i think only one fender did that on mine.
