well the color i picked out for my car is not available in ppg dbc so i have to purchase the color i want is only available in ppg's fleet line of paint. the commercial grade paint they use on semi's i love purple color with pearl they carry in it. the guy said the paint was extremely durable but was wondering if anybody had dealt with it or had actually used it

why not use the dbu system it`s a old school system but still good system
or use the global system
can i haz bondo
why dont u see if u can get the fleet in a dbc or u .. or have them take a dry chip from the purple and test the pigments and get a close match to it then spray the pearl over it .
if neither of these work....^^^^^^^^^^^^^
fleet line should be ok. but they should be able to mix something close in dbc

well whats the main difference with dbc and fleet line in terms of durability, yeah i asked if they could mix something close and he kind of looked at me like that wasnt a possibility or they didnt want to deal with the hassle

well with fleet you can't get quite as good of a finish as you can with dbc. i checked with my paint guy.... they can mix that color or something really close to the color they have in fleet. he said they have a machine that reads and will find the best way to mix the color. maybe the people you are talking to don't know what they're talking about
how about this why not pick a different color in dbc and slove all your problems
can i haz bondo
i would but nothin blew any wind up my skirt in dbc nothing close enough to what i saw in fleet, but i just may have to i want the best finish i can get
