I am getting the Type-J kit from RKSport and the 00+ headlight conversion. I know I won't have turn signals on my bumper anymore, which means I won't have turn signals period. I was wondering if anyone has/knows how to wire the turn signals into the sidelamps of the headlights (not sure what they are called). If so your help would be appreciated.

i think im lost here. why wouldnt you have turn signals? if you get the 00 head light conversion, arent you getting the corner lights with it too? you dont need bumper lights. ive had my drift kit for 2 years now just using the corner lights.
exactly. How is the type J kit and headlight conversion going to get rid of your turn signals in any way????
I guess I should have first asked if the turn signals are in the headlights for the 00+. The 99 headlights do not have turn signals, they have side marker lamps, so the only turn signal on the front of my car is the two on the bumper.

your a little confused. the 95-99 headlights are just like the 00-02 headlights, except the 00-02 headlights are bigger. both are 2 pieces. the actually headlight and the corner light. the corner light is the turn signal for both 95-99 and 00-02 style headlights. then you also have bumper lights. if you get the type j kit, you will have turn signals w/ the 00-02 corner lights it comes with. when you take your 95-99 corner lights out, just plug that bulb into the 00-02 corner lights and thats your turn signal. no need to wire in any other signals, unless you feel the need for them. personally i think one is fine. its like kinda on the side and kinda in the front so if someone is beside you or in front you, they can see it if its turned on so i dont feel a need for another set.
i think baggedcav98 said is right. the year of your car has turn signals next to the headlight besides the ones on your bumper
The head lights for your car have 2 bulbs. The newer ones have one. You have to rewire your car to work with the newer style headlamps. It has to go from 2 bulbs to one bulb. In this process you loose your bumper lights. So no need to wory about them. I can't remember what it was actually. You eather loose your corner lamps or your bumper lamps. Any wich way....one of them gets plugged right into the corner lamp. And I think it was your bumper ligths. LOL. So no need to worry about bumper lights. They will be gone eather way unless you want some and you splice into the corner lamp.
