Ok, so these have been on the waiting list at Seibon since November. They plan on making both 95-02 and 03-05 models sooner or later, but as of now its looking to be LATER. I have been informed if I buy 10 (of each model), the production process will go significantly faster and all hoods will be complete within a month, OR LESS. Here is a sample of what the hood would look like.
Now why would I do this? It seems I would just be setting myself up for something similiar to the Vertical door Group purchase. Well, you live and learn. Seibon is not just another company, Seibon is one of the highest quality most respected names in the carbon composite industry. Their products cost a premium but are well worth it. I have full faith they would come through for us with top quality products in a timely manner.
I'm not sure of a price or anything yet, I will get all that settled if there is interest shown in this thread. I do not expect anyone to pay in full until the hoods are finished and ready for shipping. We will probably require a $100 deposit on your order tho just to know your serious and not going to drop out at the last moment leaving us with extra inventory. The deposit would be non refundable.

thats a little cheap for them I've seen some go for $800 or higher so if that cheap I'm
down for one if I ever get my bc2 kit & x1 fenders
We have BC2 kits on sale for $375 and the fenders are $150.. Let me know if you want those first.

will the sunfire 95-02 hoods have the "evil" eye lids molded in?
and will there be shipping to Cananda?
As far as now, I havent heard or seen anything about these being made for the sunfire. Chances are if they are made for the fire it will be a few months after the cavalier ones are ready, like everything else.

Seibon has that hood listed for sunfires on their site, so i would imagine that they are planning on producing it eventually. why they would have it listed but not made is beyond me though.
but from what i've seen, Seibon makes some very good looking hoods.

im down with the 95-99 model but NO WAY im down with a depoist that is non-refunable......... b/c if it doesnt go threw, YOUR OUT!! NO WAY! but im down the hood though.
A non refundable deposit would be mainly so people wouldnt back out at the last second. As explaned earlier, its just an alternative to paying in full before the product is finished.

even tho the deposit is nonrefundable....if the production does not go through... then the deposit becomes refundable and we all get our money back - this insures nobody can back out but it makes it so we are covered and not out 100 bucks
^^ that's the idea.. if the 10 orders didnt go through everyone would get it back. BUT if everything went through and there was 10 hoods ready, and you decided to back out.. Then you wouldnt get it back. This is just a better way to do it than the past GPs we ran paying full cost upfront.
