Ok, i am having some problems. ive done some research on this type of conversion, i cant get a straight answer, and i need one. Ive heard everything from using 88-89 Buick hood hinges, to be able to use factory Cavalier hinges, and i cant get anything figured out. Please someone, help me out. Thanks

you need the buick hinges, and they need to be modded a lil bit. if ya search around here, there used to be a how-to on it

you can use either hinges. the lesbre hinges are designed for suicide, but a friend of mine (my car is slower than yours) did it originally using his stock cav hinges. that was waaaay back in 02 and he had it like that until just recently. email him and im sure he can help you out.
