i had one of those blasted pin stripes on the side of my car and i decided to remove it. so i used a hair dryer and pulled the rest of it off took awhile but finally got it done... now there is like adhesive on the side that looks like the pin stripe is still there but its gone....

i tried goo gone to removed it but that didnt work.... anyone got anything else that could do the trick

i had this orange citrus adhesive remover that i used on my old car i dont remember the name of it, but damn did it do a great job

i'm sure you did but did you try rubbing really hard with your thumb, thats all I can think of

yes i sure did and still nothing just barely any came off.

use some automotive bug & tar remover. make sure it's safe to use on painted areas. that should do the trick. helps take reflective vinyl lettering off ambulences, should help with pin stripes.

Just a suggestion, maybe it's BECAUSE you used a hairdryer. I know I didn't need to, I just peeled mine right off. So, Maybe you heated it up so much that it bonded the adhesive to the paint.

If you're gonna try the finger, at least, for god's sake, put on a latex glove....I had a blister the size of a quarter on my thumb for 3 weeks!!!
