ok well today i bought a used rksport ram air carbon fiber hood and i am curious on what modifications have to be done to the stock air box to get it to clear, i ordered a wai but wont be here until later on this week and id like to get my hood installed soon,so any help would be appriciated.
when i had a ram air hood, all i did was cut the top of the intake box off where the duct ends at on the hood. i put mesh over it so nothing got sucked it. thats pretty much all i did to make it a functional ram air
i got it. ya i had to cut the piece on the hood that comes down
Hmmm i got the same hood but i left my warm air intake hooked up would i get better results with the stock airbox using this method?
yea thats how i had mine except i had mesh over it incase anything got in the hood.
