Bumper Heights

Hey to all you J's who have or know anything about body kits. I have Probably the worst driveway to have to get up and down every day, and I don't want my bumper to be much lower than stock right now(it's almost a science telling people how to back down my driveway for the first time).

What I was wondering is what type of Sunfire fronts, and Cavalier rears are close to stock, give about 2-3 inches probably. I really wanted the Drift front, and the type J rear, what are the heights of these??
Also any other suggestions of other body kits that could work for me. My car is currently on stock with no drop, and 225/45/17. Thanks

drift front is probably one of the lowest you can get other than the streetfire. one of your best choices would be the original RK Sport front bumper replacement. that is, if you can get your hands on it, it's hard to come by.

either that or get air ride and whatever kit you want...

Egad! That IS a horrid driveway. I know speed bumps that are lower than that.... yikes.

Good luck man... I don't think any aftermarket bumper is gonna clear that easily. Have you thought about blasting it out and laying down some nice new cement at a better grade??

Either lay down a piece of pvc pipe so any city official that may see it cant bitch about drainage issuse and pour some quick-creete to even out the slope of that sucker. Or learn how to cut a mean angle. Take that thing from the right side and just follow the same line and angle out that you did in and you should be fine. A lower bumper on crap drive ways and stuff is just all about relearning how to drive for the adjustment.

yeah, its probably the worst slope I have ever seen. We've been looking into fixing it for the longest time, but when theres a house full of trucks and one lone car--- I have not as much say. But if I was not to kit it for a while (until enough $ for air or re doing driveway), what would be another good exterior mod to do?

A piece of pvc pipe and some quick crete is cheap as hell. I probly have enough money to redo that slope in my change jar.

this is what you do. get whatever kit you want and park on the street. thats what i do. even w/ bags, i cant get into my driveway. my rear bumper catches the ground about 2 inches before i get all the way up
