I'm sick of seeing the key scar someone put into my car. she's not gonna get painted any time soon...
I put some touch up paint on it to keep it from rusting.
went through all the layers of paint. all the way down to the metal. what techniques can I use to heal her up some?
c'mon paint masters help a guy out?

well... I've heard of people using filler to cover up the damage and painting over that but eh....
you know. I think I'll just get use to it. sorry for the trouble ><
if all you want to do is cover the scratch and prevent it from rusting, you can use touch up paint as a temporary solution. you don't need to use body filler over it and whatnot.
body filler is used mainly for dents and such... after pulling the dents out as much as possible.
if the scratch is down to the metal, the best thing to do is spray some primer over it. Primer will seal up the metal and keep it from rusting.
