I've searched but couldn't find anything, I want to put small LED's inside my mirror housing, so at night, the glow can be seen through the gap between the mirror and housing. my question is how do i remove the mirror from the housing?

see the little sail looking peice on the inside of the door, there is 1 screw that holds that on. once you pull it off there will be 3 screws holding the mirror on undo those and BAM off it comes. but if you have power mirrors i do believe you have to loosen the set screw holding the switch in place to get the sail off!!

i know that part, i took the mirror off a few times already, but i mean taking the Actual MIRROR off so the housing is empty.
