I went through a couple of newly done road's and tar got all over the side of my car, and someone said use WD-40 to get it off, so I did and it came off but it didn't. It looks like it went inside the paint, like smeared with it... So, how do I get this off it looks tacky... Looks like the clear coat came off but its just the tar, any idea's for me?
bug and tar remover, duh, then wash and rewax the area.
clay bar works also, I believe

bug and tar remover is great. takes spray paint off of cars too
to bad i had to find that out the hard way
Watching overhualin, they said peanut butter takes it off.
They also cut springs in 1 episode to make a car sit lower
