Well guys i just got this replacement hood for my cav and i am sanding it down before i get the car primered, and i was just wondering do i have to sand all the way down to the medal or is just getting rid of all the "shiny" spots good enough? thanks in advance.
you don't have to sand all the way to the metal. just enough to get the clear coat off and scuff up the base coat a bit. or at the very least scuff up the clear coat some.
