For those of you who have custom aftermarket paint. how much did you pay? and did you do it yourself or did a shop do it?
I'm price hunting right now so I'd like some sort of idea please?
I'd like to know what you had done and how much it cost. thanks!

Hey if you want some paint I have two pints of ChromaLusion "Absolute Purpleen Prizm" for sale. They are brand new and neither can has been opened. They are two 1 pint cans. Im selling both of them for $500. That includes shipping and everything. My girlfriend bought the paint for her car, but she ended up trading in her car for a new Mazda 6 that already has stock blue to purple paint on it.
wow 250/pint thats expensive paint. What kind of paint are you looking for when you say custom? Some colors are alot more expensive than other... reds are generally the most expensive factory colors. Pearls, Cameleon paint... they have a wide variety or price range

the PAINT for my car alone that I'm going to be doing soon costs about $700 (Candee color), with the base and clear... I'm painting it myself so that wont cost me anything
I just had my whole body kit installed and painted metallic blue with base and clear, also fixed my driver side door....it was smashed by a truck...so you can imagine how bad it was.... all this...for 900.00.....

I paid $1600 (cdn) for the old car w/ Blitz kit to get painted... it looked pretty good.. then I changed my mind on the kit
I'm looking at about $2500 for the new car... HOK Candy Apple Red...

Just got the car out 6hrs ago from paint. I got Viper Red, a gallon of base and clear $556. Then i have body kit, fenders, pull dents, one bad crinkle in door, and shaved doors (4 door sedan). Front bumper and fenders moulded together as one. Got whole car repainted extra $100 materials cost, and $800 labor. So overall $1456. Im friends with the body mans son also lol...

not soft. I smoke a big bowl of chron, and lay in my lawn, for longer then
it took me to put my altezzas on. "Come here bastard" "Dude , wait a minute
thats a Viper dawg!!" I don't give a F***, i'll just fly by and put my
hazards on!

Exterior:
* Custom paint is a 2002 J.D.M. Nissan silver w/a very light pearl blue added and six coats of clear with silver & multi color metal flake.
* all mldgs. & emblems removed
* painted mirrors
* painted handles
that would have cost me about $6,200. but i did alot of it myself (all but the actual painting)
also my car had just goten vandalized so insurance footed the bill for about half of it!

no door jambs, just exterior but the exterior lined up alright with the jambs. It is slighty noticable but is not an eyecatcher.
