i was thinking(dosn't happen very often ) , just some ideas(i usually don't get those but once a year kinda like B-Day presents) do yall think it would look goofy to have Widebody rear and Fender flares in the front kinda like s-2000s or Wide rear and very little done to the front maby just make an edge kinda like tha snfires ??? throw me back some ideas and say what ever u want goahead and h8 if u don't like it , i've been here long enough to know who has good judgement and who doesn't . thx

I think you could make that work very well. You'd need some some boxy looking flares in the front if your widebody is going to be very rigid looking as far as the lines go.

I think it would look good but you still need the front fenders flared a little bit.

I think your thinking but when you see the widebody kit in person you will see why this is not a good idea.

I happen to have a widebody kit sitting at my shop that i was going to put on my cavalier but decided to go a different approch. And we did some rough aligning of the widebody kit just to see how it would look.....and you NEED the front parts too or else it makes the back look to wide and unfinished.

If you need a widebody kit contact me. I am just trying to get rid of it now that my exterior is done.

does anybody actually make a true widebody kit for the j-bodies? like new wider fenders or panels, door panels and rear quarter panels to give the car a wider overall look, not just flairs and universal panels?

I actually had an idea similar to this. If you could get the universal fender flares from ground dynamics (which are bigger) and somehow make the back widebody come into the doors some, it would look awesome- if done right. Maybe do the back how Queen Zs was done- more rounded off to where u can't see any of the edges of the widebody. As for it going good with your body kit, can't be sure about that. Where your body kit has more edges, I don't know if the rounded fender flares would look right. It's kinda combining a more boxy look with a more round look. I would say if you have the money, go for it. I know I would, if I had the money right now.

& ground dynamics sells fender flares in pairs, so you could just get front ones. They are quite expensive though. $175 + shipping....
