Can anyone help me out on this? i have the sedan toyota power folding mirrors, and i want to put them on my fire, but i don't know how to make them fit. I know there is some sort of cutting involved but i don't know what to trim.

any help would be great.
thanks

Just to make sure you didn't make the same mistake i did, did you at least get the Relay with the mirrors?

what i did was drilled out the holes that the original mirrors went into enough to make the sedan ones fit. it take some fine tuning but thats what i did. there is a link in my registry to my car domain pics and as you can see you cant really tell that they are from a 4 door.

^ you must have this realy that he is talking about to make them work, i have noticed that alot of the people selling the mirrors on ebay havent been including the relay, its a black box the has 11 wires coming out of the bottom of it.

definatly no, another one from a differant toyota MIGHT work but i very VERY highly doubt you will be able to "rig" something from a honda one!!!!!!!!

Why does no one ever think we know what we are talkin' about when it comes to the folding mirrors?
