panic button
Sunday, June 12, 2005 8:48 AM
I sitting here at the comp. and I hear my horn blowing. I look out and there is nothing wrong exept my horn is going off. I go get my keys and hit the panic button to turn it off it turns it off but I don't want it to do this through the middle of the night or when I'm not at home. Neighbors might not be to happy. I have no idea why it would do this. How can I disable the panic mode on the car? It is a 2004 cav. Thanks

your have a short somewhere. but not in the remote. i had the same problem with mine at one time. my girl and i went out of town for like 5 hours and my alarm went off continuously the whole time. it would stop they say, then start up again like 5-7 minutes later. oh, at the time, she lived in an apartment complex. the manager called her cell phone just before we had pulled up. there were ALLOT of people upset when we pulled up.

just check all you grounds and wires. good luck.
