but how much do you think it would cost to buy a body kit, have it molded to the existing body, and get it painted?

look around i just found a place to shave my antenna and fix all the damn dents from people in parking lost and paint the GTR kit i am getting for $800 that includes paint
call around, every shop charges different prices. we cant give you an exact answer. if you want it molded in and the whole car repainted, then yea your probably looking at tlike 1800-2500. full decent paint job will run you about 1500 itself

It varies from region to region... shop to shop... get some estimates. If you live in a big city it could be more expensive than in the country...
don't just look for low price, cuz you don't want to pay out and have they half ass it. ask people that have had work done there, find out what the shop's reputation is. if it costs a few hundred more and they've got a good reputation for quality, i'd say it's well worth it.
