Sunfire 03+ Bumper,Lights, Hood to 95-99?

On a sunfire: is it possible to swap the front end (bumper, lights, hood, and all) from an 03+ to a 97. Any fabrication? I can wire just fine, but cutting/welding metal isn't my strong suit.

I know the fenders are identical, so I shouldn't have to swap them. I know the bumper, hood and lights are very different (the reason I want to swap), are there other things that would have to be swapped too?

Has anyone done this before? Has this been asked before? Links?

no fabrication needed. you will, however, have to rewire the headlights from a 2 bulb system to a 1 bulb. everything should bolt up just fine.

Yeah what cannon fodder said but just curious why you would want to do that...

I mean to each is own but most people like the 03+ style better (including myself)

i believe he's saying that he wants to swap the 03+ ONTO his 97. in which case, what i said was slightly off. you'll need to switch from a single bulb setup to a dual bulb setup for your headlights.

Yeah.. I want to put a new 03+ front on my 97 Sunfire Convertible.
The didn't make the convertible past 99, but I like the new look better.

CF: I knew what you meant with the switching the bulb wiring.
