hey everyone . well i was tryin to put my side skirt on ... well fit it and it fell and the corner where the jell coat cracked off . i'm having no luck with the side skirt man ... its a drift kit and my car is a 2001 sunfire . o well no use in getting upset . i will put what i can on and then let a body shop put the rest and mold it in and primer the whole car flat black for now .
Yeah the body shop should be able to take care of that no problem. Skirts can be a pain in the arse...
I got my drift sides for my Sunfire back in 03, they fit lengthwise... but I had a helluva time getting them on there right. The fiberglass wasn't cut right... so where the side skirt went under the door there was a huge gap, so I ended up having to mold them in. Man was that ever a pita!! I'll be looking for urethane drift sides soon, as mine have cracked pretty bad (not where it's molded, but everywhere else lol)... and I'll have to grind my side skirts off... fun fun...
