all it says is "Custom Painted Taillights"
any ideas on how to make them or are they for sale some where?
i drive a 02 cav and the tail lights sucks on it and want to change them
so if i can find these or make them any other ideas?

yep, 03 stock taillights. just painted. Mine used to be the same way...
2004 Turbo cavalier 11PSI and blown!
all you have to do is remove the 2 outter tails and the main piece in the middle. i think socket size you need is 13mm. once you have the parts out, mask off the cirlcles (and whatever else you don't want paint on) and paint it any color you like. don't forget to clear coat it too.
That Cavalier is probably my favorite one on Car Domain.
Why don't you ask him, he is on this site, I think his name is Blue Splash, not sure if there is a space between the two words or not though. Give it a try.

you can get 03+ outter tails, paint them and put them in place of your 02 outter tails.

wont line up veryw ell though. the 03+ tails have depth, the older tails are flush to the body lines. but you could drill holes in your trunk to mount the 03+ inner bar.
I have an 01 and i put 03 tails on. the outers bolt right on... for the bar, I sanded down down the pegs in the center... and then it bolted right up useing the inner..bolts.

sadly no.... but it looks exactly like the 03 04 cars. I actually had someone come up to me and as me if i did the 00- 02 front end swap. because other then the front end and the engine...... it looks like a 03- 04.
there is one thing you should know, with paint on it, the tail will not have reflector on it, and the law often need reflector on tail light to be DOT. btw, the look is really cool like that. Try to make little round reflector in red vinyl on the center of the unpainted red round.
