What did people do to make this fit right? Cut that metal bar that is behind the license plate off because of the indentation that the drift rear bumper has? I cut the crush panel guard down alot but still is hitting and i think that it is hitting that metal support bar that is welded onto the car. If you take that off, what to use to get it off the car?
I just bought a drift kit and it's getting painted and I hope to install this weekend, so you can bet I'm listening.
well i took my crush guard off. after triming just about all of it, there was none left. it fit fine after that. im about 95% sure you will have the infamous drift sag in the rear bumper. the middle tends to sag down under the trunk lid. what you need to do is get some L brackets and mount then under the lid so when you put the bumper on, the L bracket will sit under the bumper and hold it up right under the lid so it looks good. if not you'll have a nice noticable sag. if you wanna see what the sag looks like, check my cardomain page. i have a pic of my rear w/ the sag.
