Projector Style Headlight Cover Painting

I bought a pair of the plastic headlight covers for my car and i want to paint them black. The current color of them is a dark almost black, but transparent. What would I need to use to paint them? like sanding, primer, and paint

just paint them black from the inside. as for what kind of paint, i dont know. but if you paint them from the inside, it will look much better. good luck.

oh, wait. are these the ones with the holes in them? i dont know if you said that, or if that is part of your sig. anyway, if you are trying to cover the whole thing, you will be better off talking to one of the paint guys, or gal. good luck.

I have the phantom headlight covers and I had them painted with the body kit. Here is an old pic.
