Mounting LS Lips without clips

I have a 2001 Cavalier Z24, and i want to get the LS lip kit for it, but i need to know of its possible to mount them on the bumper without using the mounting clips, does anyone know if its possible?

i think its possible with just bolts but dont quote me on this, im not 100% sure.

I used 5 cent shelf clips from Home Depot... $10 a clip from GM was just too unreal.

you will need the retainers for it to hold on. unless you mold it in

as mr. lenko said. you can use shelf clips. or if you are looking for the actual retainer.

I mounted the front and rear lip on my car without using the clips. The front is mounted by a screw in each fenderwell and 5 screws for the rest of it. The middle three there are holes for and the outside two I used a washer and just drilled it into the bumper to hold the lip up under where the foglamps go.

The rear lip I mounted with a screw in each fenderwell and used 3m emblem tape from end to end to mount both pieces to the rear bumper cover.

I have had them on for well over a year here in Colorado driving the car daily (rain, snow, etc) and have had no problems with it.
