I picked up some sideskirts for free, but they are the wrong colour. I need to repaint them. They are dark green now, and i want to paint them white. Do i need to prime? or just sand? WTF do i do for prep work? I was gonna use just a rattle can or 2 of factory paint....i dunno what the hell i'm doing *JBO

LMK!

No need to prime. Just scuff with 220 and spary. But DO NOT use factory match rattle can paint. Find a body shop to paint them to match your car. Wont cost more than like $100-150. And it will actually match and look good unlike the rattle can.

long story short get them professionally done, I am having a set done right now for $60 for both or $30 per side. I can respect you wanting to do things yourself, but, take it from me you dont want to ruin a set of side skirts, regardless of if you got them for free.

just take it to a shop. it will come out looking like crap if you spray paint them
