I just got my HID kit and when I turn them on, they stay on for about 10 seconds then begin to flicker. And there is a high pitched noise coming from the ... big silver/steel box ... can't think of the name lol. Anyways, I don't know if any grounding issues, but am stumped as to why they are acting up.
i had this problem as well, i found that the car has to be started before you turn ur lights on, and i contacted xenonking (where i got my hid kit from) they said that our cars simply dont have enough "juice" he recomended buyign a wiring harness to draw current directly from the battery, i ordered mine it should be here in a couple of days. I think the harness is like $30 with shipping, but for some reason mine havent been acting up lately but im still going to install the wiring harness to be on the safe side.
hope this helps
Oh ok cool, do you have a link I can order the harness from? Very much appreciated man!
where are you getting the hid kits?

Ebay is where I got mine, but hidynamic.com is another place.
if you contact xenonking.com they will give you instuctions or u can paypal them $30 and put what kind of bulb and kit you have and just write in subject line for example mine were "McCulloch h11 HID wire harness" the $30 includes shipping, i just installed the harness now and it works great, and yes it does use relays and it takes about 10 minutes to install any other questions feel free to ask
