hey guys, i have a 99 z24. i want to have "blueish" fog lights but i cant seem to find much for aftermarket lights anywhere in canada. i was wondering if it is plausable to paint the stock bulbs with a few layers of blue translucent paint. is this a good idea? will it work?

if it is effective i may concider doing it to my front signals also

aren't your foglights halogen's? if so paint will probably blow the bulbs
any audio store will sell blue bulbs.
ebay??.....yeah, if you do paint them, you might blow them up...then you'll have burn stains in your fog light housing, creating a cloudy look...my headlight bulb seriuosly blew up on my 99 cavy and it was a mess...I finally ordered a new headlight...my suggestion would be to paint them and then turn them on out side of your housing...so if they do blow up....your housing won't be ruined ....good luck!!
Those bulbs burn way to hot to be painted. They aren't like the 5-7 Watt bulbs used in your turn signals and such. They are 27Watt halogen bulbs.
Ebay is prolly your best bet.
look harder, any canadian tire will have them.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
crappytire or walmart do not carry them in the type needed for the 95-99 cav. what would i look for specifically on ebay?
