LED Corner Signal Bulb problem

so i thought i'd try out these LED corner lights on my 2002 cavalier. however i ended up blowing 2 of my "hazard/stop light" fuses and now none of my lights are working (except for the headlights). Original (stock) bulb was 3357 which i replaced with 3157 which shouldn't be a problem right? did anybody experience this problem before ? I figure that cavalier just can't take those LED bulbs probably because of the low wattage/current. Is regular bulb my only option , any suggestion?

You might need to add a resister

When I built my LED tail lights I used a 8 ohm - 25w i think

The only other thing I could think of is somehow the bulb might be shorting out in the socket or has some crazy resistor built in...maybe drawing too much current

Not so sure really
