i've heard .05% is a good amount, i guess that would depent on how much paint is used, which i dont know

14.82 @ 97 mph

my car just got fully painted over the weekend, and we put silver metal flake in it. I got the smallest House of Kolor flakes which was fraekin $52 and he barely used any of it, and it is shiny as anything! Getting pics up once the back bumper gets put back on!

We recently painted a Tiburon black with holographic flake... bought 16 grams... used 3 small level scoops out of that (1/4tsp I think)... and it was sparkly. All comes down to preference.

i'd say buy some flake (you won't need anywhere near 6ounces)... and do some test panels with different amounts, and see which you like better.

what is holographic flake??? are you talking about DuPonts Chrome Illusion? or "camelion" paint, or is there something new?

Actually it was X-otic Colours holographic flake... think holograms.... shows up in the sun like a rainbow flake... but each flake depending on the light angle changes different colors. Not the same as "chamelion"

Oh yeah, depending on tthe size flake you use... you may have to remove the filter in the gun or it will clog... or if it's larger flake... possibly a larger sized needle in the gun...

Fine flake is usually ok to spray with a 1.4 or 1.5 needle... filter removed
