how do you adjust lambo doors

i got my broken hinge fixed on the drivers side and when they put the new hinge on they adjusted it so it go's all the way up but my passenger side door needs to be adjusted to match the hight so....how do i do that

it sounds liek you need to take the supplied allen wrench and adjust the adjustment screw thats closest towards the front of the car...enabling the door to swing out further therefore going past the knob that stops the door halfway up

it goes past the bumpstop....before i changed the strut out it went up the same hight as the new hinge but now its a little lower

i was unaware that they came in different lenghts....maybe i will check in the morrning...how will i know if i am?

well the only way i would think they would be different sizes is if they are 2 different brands of shocks...are they?

btw im not sure if this is the reason for your problem im just throwing out possible solutions

it seems that you have 2 different air struts man, that is the impression I am getting when reading your problem. I am pretty positive that is the problem because that is the only thing that makes the door go up and stay up. Also you could have a bad strut as well, being it will not fully extend. Hope I helped a bit.

i think your right...so on average how often do you change out your struts or how often do they go bad on you...

i got the gt factory lambos that go 90° and i can adjust it any angle with that one screw. like he said, adjust that one screw towards teh door. mine is always towards the door for the direct 90° but it can go any angle. its one screw and time to make sure both are at same length.

wut size shock do i need to lift the two door in front i already have the two henges i just need to know wut size i need its a 4 door cavalier

i use 700-750 on my two doors so maybe half of that i guess
