Here's the think. I want to stealth out the cav. I already have Black corners and black rims with the black window tinting. All I really need to do is black out the Headlites and the Altezzas that came on the car (gonna get cf ones soon, I hope). So my question to the people of the org is, has anybody seen the results of this product?

you should get VHT Nite Shades if your going to do it, not no name stuff from asia. But do not do your headlights, besides being illegal it will affect the amount of light that is emitted from your headlights, therefore you'll see alot less. I have my corners and rear side markers done, and picked up another can the other day to do my tails, its a really nice product that doesnt require clearcoat, but i wouldn't do my headlights if i were you
unless you buy driving lamps
can you use the spray tint stuff on the bezel that goes between the tails on 03+ cavs? I'm thinking about getting some of this stuff!

so what's the proper way of applying this stuff? I bought a can off ebay (couldn't find any locally) VHT Nite Shades..
I plan on wet sanding my tails to get rid of the letters/words/etc, and thoroughly cleaning them before applying the nite shades.
Grillrd: are your tails still functional? How many coats did you apply? I love that jet black look!
I'm guessing the proper technique would be to use 3-4 coats, letting the paint dry between each spray for an hour or 2? do you sand between coats? Do they come out glossy, or would you recommend clear coat? what kind of clear coat? do you sand the clear coat?
Sorry for so many questions, I've never painted anything in my life :blush:

i just painted my tails and thats all they came
out fairly glossy and no chips or scratches yet
had lots of hot and cold weather and still holding
up fine. But like i said i just painted it black
the headlights are custom projectors...not tinted....the tails are still functional...i applied 3-4 coats
my tails are the same .....go nite shade!
if it doesn't go fast, whats the point?
