Dynamatting a cf trunk lid???
Thursday, August 25, 2005 10:51 AM
I was thinking about buying a carbon fiber trunk lid for my cavalier. I currently have 2 15-inch subs in my trunk and dynamatted the @!#$ out of my stock metal trunk lid. If i was to get the cf trunk lid do you think I would have to dynamat it? Since its not metal it wouldnt ratte i dont think, but its lighter so it might vibrate more! Does anyone know what I should do or does anyone on here have a carbon fiber trunk with a huge stereo? I dont know if I would need to dynamat it or not or if the trunk would break from the loud stereo. Thanks for the help!
