I have a 96 Z and one night my dash lights went out and a week later someone told me my taillights were out so i run through the fuses and i noticed my EXT LAMP fuse was blown so i put a new 30 in and turned on my lights and it blew it instantly along with my radio fuse. when i turn the lights on my headlights work. when i hit my blinkers the front and back blink but then when they go off there are no tail lights. also when i hit the brakes the tail lights come on but thats all so cant someone help me out

ok you have a short some where or a bad ground. try checking all the wiring to the tail lights first. if that dosent turn up the prob check the wiring for the brake light (third eye) in your spoiler.
is there any other problems like dont want to start, weird electrical problems, and unpridectable engine functions i.e. high rev, errattic idle, misfires?

if there is it could be the computer. it was mounted in the inner fender from 95-98 or 99
thats how it started in my sisters 97 cav. check and see if the recall was performed by calling the dealer

i had a similar problem, my dash went out and my radio wasn't working right. turns out i had a bad ground. check that out and check your other wires like Stolen said. hope you figure it out.
