I need to know where the headlight wire is located at on a 1998 Cavalier. What color is the wire? I know it's located up by the cluster just not sure what wire i am looking for. I hate driving at night without my gauge light on and i need it to be on when i turn my headlights on. And i dont want to hook it up to the dimmer switch, thanks guyz
The parking light wire is listed as brown- in a harness in the lowers driverside kick panel..
You might be able to find it a little closer to the headlight switch- but make sure you test it first.
I have a 2005 cavalier and hooked my gauges up to the brown wire on the column. Come to find out it's hot when I turn the key on so my gauges stay lit. Which wire do I need to hook my gauges up to?
are you sure theres not a switch on the gauges thats turned on? my gauges are all hooked to the brown wire in the column and work fine
