is there anywere that i can pick up just the lenses for a set taillights, i am in the prosses of making some led tails, and i need the lenses, thanks

didnt see tails little long only lenses. if anyone has an old pair of tails they wanna get off thier hands with the lenses in decent shape let me know. thanks....

i can make you a set of either. the "frosted" will be really thin, but the crystal clear will be a good thickness. my frosted isnt like the picture above. that is more of a clear reflector. here is a picture of the "frosted" pattern that i can make....
shoot me an email. oh, i dont have a set of tails to use as a mold though. so if you happen to have an extra set of tails, ill see what i can do for you. good luck with everything man.

well good news ladies and gentlemen. i tore apart my spare room and found my stock outer tails. remember, i have a 4 door fire so i dont have inners. anyway, i just got done making this one lens. i have the "bumpy" side on the inside. here you go.....

then whats the point of using the lens just use 2000 grit wetsand paper sand off the letters and just use niteshades on your stock tails. *same effect*

yeah......when digging up a 3 year old thread, i would recomend looking around about the characters that posted them.
on a side note, i am developing several types of tail and headlight lenses. They should be available soon, and should include clear, tinted, toyo style (have to be used with custom tail lights), and projector headlight lenses, which will have a hump to allow for extra projector clearance when doing a retrofit....also available in clear and tinted colors.

Very cool. I've been looking around for clear lens tail lights, both outers and inners, that are styled from the '00-'02 ones.

But seriously, lack of funds is keeping this project on hold for a little while at least. you should see the clear tails coming out soon, but the LED toyo tails I had been cooking ip are on the back burner until i get some flow.
