Ok I am having an issue with my drivers side headlight. sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't. I was wondering you know how the plug from the car plugs into the housing and on the inside from there to the connector for the light. Why cann't you take the plug from the car right to the bulb it fits and works i tried it, but took it out didn't want to do damage. just was wondering how everyone else has the aftermarket bulbs installed. I don't have the silverstars, but I have the APC blue ones. I will be getting the silverstar as soon as i take care of this problem.

Thanks in Advance.

it is most likey to be the connector. depending on the miles you may still be under warrety. they should cover this.in my 04 cavy the tail light blew two blubs in a row. call my pops. he is a parts guys at a chevy dealership. said it was covered under warrtery. DO NOT TOUCH those blubs. it will cause them to burn out i found out the hard way. if you do touch them cleaning them off with rubbing alcohol. it is the oil on your skin that causes them to burn out.

well on the 04 they have the car harness which plugs into the headlight assembly. with 3 wires goin to a connector for the bulb. i want to know if i plug the one off the car into the bulb would that cause a problem. and take off and leave off that big black cap.
