For those of you with a shaved trunk, like myself, I'm wondering of behalf of all of us. Has anyone or any company ever made an outer tail light with both breaking and reverse lights? I'm sure alot of people out there that share the same delema that comes with shaving your trunk. Though it comes it the territory, it would be nice to see if something has been or can be made?
I've got a Sunfire, but I was pretty much faced with the same problem since my trunk and bumper is all shaved, so I just put them in the taillights I was making. Sure they aren't exactly going to receive DOT approval for illuminating whats behind me, but they are definitely bright and very noticable when they are on.

who needs reverse lights.. just back up till u hear a bump or ur car suddenly stops..
I have a set of
APC All Clear Outter Taillights and i have thought about try drilling and putting a White LED Bulb in there with teh brake LED light but i think once i hit my brakes itll kinda cancel out.. but then i decided there just isnt alot of play room..so i just decided not to bother.. ill just live without..
ill roll my window down and stick my head out the window, and use a flashlight at night lmao
maybe you couls use the toyota 00+ outer tail and put the reverse light where the flasher use to be!!

do those come with the the whole taillight, or is it the lenses? fantastic price if it is the whole taillight. if it is just the lenses, they are still a great price considering nobody else has them.

someone locally here shaved his inners, then bought a small set of side markers, drilled through the taillight for the wiring and then epoxyed the marker to the bottom of the light, looked great
^ its the whole light, not just the lenses. and they're that cheap because he only has like 1 or 2 sets left and he's trying to get rid of them.

IZN, its the whole taillight. Below are some pics of when i got them from Jason at
A+Performance. But they are just the Outter taillights, APC made them but discontinued them cuz they were illegal..i dont know how many were actually made.. the set Jason has is the only set i know for sale by a business.. ProCarParts used to have them but they ran out. Now ull have to find em used or buy the set Jason has..
Here is a pic of them with the stock inners.. i just put them on to see howd they look with the Green.. i took them right off and will wait till i finishe welding my trunk and get it in primer and put on before the tails go back on next spring..
I plan to buy 3157 bulbs with 15 red LEDs and use them so i can stay legal.. so ill have no reverse lights and no red in my taillights.. gonna have to sneak around town haha j/k
