I've got the regular m3 mirror's(no turn sig) so I wont be able to help you there. But the plate your refering to is just where the hole's are in the door from where the stock mirror was. I did swap the foam peice from the stock to the m3's before I installed them. It's just three nut's to take off then put the new one's in it's place tighten up. The front nut's the only bitch to get into. The wiring I've seen posted up before. You'll have to do a search. Later.
not the wiring, i mean the mirrors themselves. they dont bolt up to the plate. do i have to shave a piece of the oem plate and then screw the mirror in or something? also if someone could post pics of how theirs is installed id appreciate it, thanks. the wiring im sure i can figure it out.
also, mine didnt come with any plates, maybe im missing that? all i got is exactly what is pctured on the ad.
that is whats missing then, if you read the auction it says it comes with mounting brackets, when i recieved mine they were in the box with the mirrors
Yeah, they should have come with triangular mounting brackets.
It may be possible to break the factory sides, but try it with spares from a junkyard or something if you do.

Glad you got it. Mine are the APC mirror's they came allready set up. just unbolted the stock one's and put the new one's back in.

ill post pics as soon as I can. the reason i do not post pics very often is because i dont have a digital; camera so i usually use a cell, or regular pics and a scanner. but ill post pics asap
my ebay ones stuck up at about a 45 degree angle, like bunny ears. if anybody wants em, 20 bucks shipped btw (black, w/ signals, power, 4dr) is there an easy way to fix this? maybe i got the wrong plate? ive got an 02, could it be different at all from a 95-99?

^^ You might be able to just shim the top part of the bracket/mounting plate where it mounts to the door... so that they don't point up so much. Try that if you haven't yet.
